UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST LIABILITY BE ADMITTED EITHER VERBALLY OR IN WRITING
Upon the happening of any incident likely to give rise to a claim, the following points must be noted:
- You should take all reasonable steps, following an accident or loss, to protect any person or property from any further injury, loss or damage.
- You must record all details of:
- the incident.
- any third party who has, or may have, sustained injury, loss or damage.
- any witnesses to the accident or loss.
In all cases, you should advise us immediately for advice on how to handle the matter.
You should not give any interview or make any statement to a loss adjuster or other person investigating any accident or loss UNLESS such person is acting on behalf of the insurer.
No correspondence should be entered into with any third party except acknowledgment of receipt of the claim. The acknowledgement letter should read as follows:

You must forward all letters of demand, writs/summonses to us immediately after you have received them and we will then immediately forward the documents to the insurer
